Learning comes alive as students witness (and participate) in science demonstrations that are not typically presented in the science classroom! Additionally, each program contains elements of chemistry, biology, meteorology, health, history, math & physical education. Showing the relationship between the various disciplines is truly a multifaceted approach to teaching. This allows the students to see that science really is all around us!
This diverse program is truly beneficial in that history and the social sciences are incorporated right along with curriculum standards and school priorities for citizenship and character development. This program speaks to everyone on many different levels by blending visual object lessons, student (and teacher) involvement with a little bit of magic and humor to create a positive learning environment. In the end, this unique approach will have a lasting impact as lessons will be remembered long after the program is over!

Larry Wirtz is an educator who believes in life-long learning as he is continuing with his personal education while helping students from kindergarten through the twelfth grade learn more about the physical sciences, character education and positive leadership skills. Currently Larry is in the dissertation phase towards a PhD in Organizational Leadership from Indiana Wesleyan University.
While holding advanced degrees in organizational leadership, Larry is able to offer professional development programs on a variety of leadership topics. These programs are designed to promote positive behavior support while attending to personal and professional leadership growth.
Additionally, Larry also offers a staff development program that shares his decades of experience in teaching science. These interactive in-services are designed to eliminate the fear of teaching science all the while making learning and teaching fun at the same time!
